Seattle Children's Research Institute

A team of queer and trans researchers from the Seattle Children’s Gender Clinic are conducting a study to try to learn from young adults about ways we can make gender-affirming healthcare more accessible for adolescents. If you started seeking gender-affirming medical care when you were between the ages of 18 and 20 years old, we would love to hear from you!

Participating in the study would involve completing a one-time, confidential, online survey. The survey will take 15-20 minutes to complete and will ask questions about what types of gender-affirming care you were interested in receiving as an adolescent, reasons it may have been hard to access this care then, and your thoughts on ways we can make care more accessible for adolescents in the future. You will receive a $10 e-gift card for participating.

The study is completely optional and your choice to participate will have no effect on the care you receive with Plume. You can also choose to stop the survey at any time, we just ask that you please not share the survey link or QR code with anyone else. If you have any questions about the study, you are welcome to reach the study team via email at SCGCresearch@seattlechildrens.org.

Thank you so much for considering! If you are interested in participating in the study, click here to begin.
