Due to regulatory changes in virtual healthcare in the state of Alabama, and the federal classification of testosterone as a class III controlled substance, we are heartbroken to announce that we will no longer be able to service members seeking T prescriptions in this state.
We sought every possible path to try to maintain operations, but the unique legal constraints regarding in-person care in Alabama would have ultimately created an unsustainable and unsafe situation. We are committed to supporting our members through this transition. This includes offering our T-seeking members a bridge prescription and offering support resources for alternative GAHT providers in Alabama.
Our hearts go out to our members in Alabama impacted by these changes. We will continue to fight for fair and equitable access to care for everyone in our community, which includes speaking out and working with partners and lawmakers to try and change the regulatory constraints that cause harm to our community.

I am currently a Plume testosterone patient in Alabama, can I continue to work with Plume?
For all current members, we will be offering a bridge prescription and continued support monthly for up to 6 months to ensure continued care while you look for a new provider. During that time it is important that you look for an in-person provider to continue your care beyond the next 6 months. Please reach out to the Care Team in Spruce if you are impacted by these changes for support, we have some resources for you and want to be there for you until we no longer can be.
I found an in-person provider, how can I transfer my records from Plume?
We can send over your Plume medical records to your new provider. Message your Care Team in Spruce to request a medical release. Once completed, we will send over your Plume documents using the information you provided.
