What accommodations do you have for hard of hearing or deaf patients?

Deaf and hard of hearing folks can have their telehealth appointments via texting communication in the Spruce app. If you want to use text-only communication, we will need you to turn your camera on briefly at the beginning of the appointment. This allows your provider to see you and confirm your identity by checking the photo ID you provided. After we confirm that it’s you, we can switch to text communication to discuss your treatment options.

Desafortunadamente, no podemos acomodar la atención médica en español. Sin embargo, si se siente cómodo comunicándose en inglés, estaremos encantados de ayudarle. Estamos trabajando para poder servir a nuestra comunidad en Español. Sentimos mucho no poder hacerlo en este momento pero esperamos pronto poder servirle en el futuro.


Does Plume provide services in Spanish? 

Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate medical care in Spanish. However, if you feel comfortable communicating in English, we will be happy to help you. We are working to be able to serve our community in Spanish. We are very sorry that we cannot do it at this time but we hope to be able to serve you in the future.
